Thank you to Our Sponsors!

We are very proud and honored to have support from these great sponsors. They are all top quality companies. We use their products on a regular basis and recommend them highly.

Ask us about what their products can do for your horses, we'd be glad to tell you about our experiences with them.

I have been using Kentucky Equine Research products for many years. I depend on KER and KERx products on a daily basis to keep my horses healthy and feeling good so they can train and compete at their best.

Some products I use on a regular basis and recommend are:

KER-Flex, an Oral Joint Supplement

Preserve, a Vitamin E and Selenium supplement

Synovate HA, a Liquid HA Supplement

Restore and Restore Paste, a great Electrolyte Supplement

Hemabuild
,  a Trace Mineral and B Vitamin Supplement

Nano E, a unique Vitamin E Supplement

I'd be happy to answer any questions about how I use these products. I'm very proud to have Kentucky Equine Research as a sponsor. I have visited their facility in Kentucky and was most impressed with their staff, their innovative research and attention to detail. Visit www.KER.com to access a wide variety of research papers, and subscribe to their web newsletter, filled with helpful information to keep you informed and up to date on the latest horse care subjects.

I've been a helmet wearer from my start with horses as a teenager. When I got my first horse at age 15, my mother made it clear that if she caught me riding without my helmet, the horse would be gone. There was no way I was going to risk that!! I wore that helmet with the elastic chin strap faithfully, and upgraded each time helmets improved. In the 80's, I was in a dressage barn where no one wore a helmet, and gradually stopped wearing mine. I wasn't jumping, right? One day a rider at the barn jumped on her horse bareback and was just riding him at a walk down the path to the barn. Her horse tripped and she fell off and badly injured her head. The next day I dug my helmet out of my tack trunk and was back on track, wearing it every day.

I've been wearing a Charles Owen AYR8 helmet daily for the last two years, including on the marathon when I compete, even at the World Championship! It's comfortable, wearable even on those really hot days we have in South Carolina, and looks great. I get lots of complements when I wear it. I end up wearing it pretty much all day, every day that I work, and it still looks new.
It's a valuable investment in my safety. I often let other people try it on, once they see how comfortable it is, they have to have one for themselves.

Fran and I both wear our Charles Owen JL9 Protective Vests when we are competing and schooling obstacles. They fit well, are very adjustable and mold to our bodies, allowing us to move easily and perform at our best.

We are happy to represent Charles Owen, celebrating their 100th year in business.
